Having been a student for three years, I know quite a lot about trying to save money. Now, I’m a teaching assistant on minimum-wage, trying to save up so I can go back to university and finish what I started three years ago. Needless to say, money is pretty tight right now, so I went about seeing how little I can live on, and it turns out it’s very little!

I decided to write this to chart my progress in the world of cooking and living frugally. There is a little bit of wisdom in here that I want to share with the world… maybe it’s just what you’ve been looking for!

There are cheap recipes, cheap homemade gifts, cheap homemade alcohol and even advice on what you can forage for free!

If you’re looking for poshnosh instead, you should head over to my special-food blog instead!

And if you want to share some wisdom back, comment or get in touch!
